Let me tell you about my hatch (Update)....

Just wanted to tell yall about this latest hatch of mine. Homemade incubator......16 bantam cochin eggs.......temp spike twice to 110! Very low humidity throughout incubation until day 19. Ended up with 14 chicks!

So far everyone is healthy and happy as ever!

(*Update 1-13-2010*) Guess what? I didnt take the last 2 eggs out of the incubator "just in case" and right now, day 22, there is a pip!

(*Update 1-14-2010*) A buff makes 15!

What is your opinions on what the light color one will be......splash?

The light one does look like a splash, it has that blue tint. Don't be surprised if it stays white for quite a while. That light it may take a few adolescent molts before it gets good splashes.
