First time incubating. I have 12 Grand Barnyard Mix eggs (jk they’re just regular barnyard mix).
Any advice is welcome!

Are you incubating at 52% humidity?
I'd recommend 30% max.
Yes, the machine Instructions say to run between 48-55% for the first 18 days. I’ve read that you can drown the chicks if you run humidity too high. Should I just open the little slot more?

I’ve opened the little window and sucked some water out of the 1st channel. After a few hours the humidity is at 35. Is there a point that is too low?

It’s also rainy here, and my house is small. The relative humidity of the rest of the house is 60%.

I have been keeping the humidity between 25-30%. I candled eggs last night and found veins in the light pink and brown eggs. The green and blueish ones had distinct air sacs and looked like they have something going on, but I cannot see veining because of the shells. All 12 seem to be developing though!
