We sold our pool table this week, and I will be spending the rest of the evening taking it apart and getting it loaded up in the van to take to the buyers tomorrow morning....

Okay, let me clarify, although I don't know if the clarification will make the story better or worse, lol. The lady doing the Tastefully Simple party is a woman my age, who I know as a friendly acquaintance. Another woman going is also from the pub, she's the bartender there, and we've become pretty friendly also. Now, the 'second' party is actually the Tastefully Simple woman's babysitter, who is only in her early 20's. She didn't have any place to hold that party, so the woman said she could hold it at her house. She even warned me that the second part of the party will be mainly the babysitters' friends, who are all young, early 20's. She thought it would be funny if the three of us (from the first party) stuck around and gave the kids a "hard time", in a friendly fun way, that is. So I won't know any of the kids at the 'second' party, they are all young and I won't know or plan to know any of them. I guess the lady hosting the party just figured she'd kill two birds with one stone and have the adult party after the tastefully simple party. So basically it will just be a bunch of kids I don't know at the second party, but the idea is that we'll already be there. Does that make sense?
Seriously, NONE of this is my cup of tea. I'm just trying to be social. I always say no to these things, so I'm just trying to go beyond my comfort level I guess.
Ehhh... nope don't envy you a bit. My youngest sis is 21, expecting next month? I can't imagine my 30, married for 12 years, self in that sort of venue with that crowd... I mean, if you're quiet then you're a prude... if you talk then you're a sicko... seems like a catch-22. Think maybe your friend invited you for HER moral support?? I wouldn't want to be the only older lass there for sure!
5:43... gotta leave for the Vet at 6:30-45... tick tick tick. I hate waiting.
And it's COLD... few agree with me, but I am a complete wimp when it comes to cold.. and spicy for that matter. And this is only the beginning. On a good note our mulberry finally decided to shed it's leaves so at least that's done. But the trees in the back yard still haven't gotten even halfway through... so much to rake, so little time.
Ah, timer went off... time to go peel up my boiled eggs YUM!

Hotel Charlie Romeo..... what's a CV? (Probably a dumb question.....
)
You know, when you apply for a job and have to list your education/work experience etc. I have no work experience besides the junk mail job I'm doing now, so I have absolutely no idea what to write. lol
