I am using the Premier One heating plate for my littles. I was wondering - should I also provide additional light in the form of a white light bulb? And if I do, should I only keep it on during the day and turn it off at night? My chickies will be living in my garage until they can go outside so there isn't much natural light in there at all.

Yes - you will want to provide actual lighting for them and, yes, I would provide a day/night cycle.

Please I need help
I hatched 6 chickens in an incubator and 1 wasn't walking 2 days later they are 3 days old today this morning it looks like her intestines have come out or something like that not sure what it was so we removed it from her to see if that would help her
She is still alive but very weak
Any suggestions?
I am devastated I may have hurt in instead of helping
New to the chick world need advice
Thanks

Put her down. You will not save her. This is not
your fault. This is a birth defect that sometimes
happens. I know you will do your best but this
is fatal. I am sorry for your loss.
Best,
Karen
