letargic bantam hen with possible broken egg inside her infecting, I need advice please

I’m so glad to hear she is acting like she is feeling better, her behavior sounds promising! To be honest I do not know much about the antibiotic she is on, but if it is only a 3-5 day one, I would not be shocked if it worked fast.

Don’t apologize! I wish I was intelligent enough to know even a bit of another language, you are fine 😊 I never was clear on if she survived or not, but she did; she is still alive and doing well. The swelling in her abdomen that she had had for a year or longer even went down after she recovered. She had gotten sick back in June, her story is here it’s a little long:

I update the thread still about once a month or when she has a change because I want to document how she does after her recovery. I don’t know if she’ll eventually decline again, a lot of people say they will. I hope if she never lays again she won’t.

Do you think your hen is an internal layer? Does she have a name?

Edited to add, my hen also laid on her side a lot when she was sick. It must take pressure off their abdomen, maybe?

I'm glad she is still with you and doing well, I hope Jafar stay by your side doing well for a very long time, maybe you alreay read it but according to this article half dose of enrofloxacine at the same time with half dose of amoxiciline did good with S. Entritidis and E. coli, but if I understood well the max dose of amox used in the article is 13.1mg

Well, I've only see them twice by now that she makes sounds an go to the nest, leave it without any eggs after some time and look up for leaves to put on his back, she always used to do that when laying, it's the only thing that get me suspect of that. Her name is Diverty.

Maybe, then that will be a bad sign for my other hen too, I was thinking it was related to egg but I'm pretty ignorant to that matter so I can't think on something else.
It's good if you kept updating because it could be like a guide to somebody else, I've read some hystories trough posts with successfull an unsuccessfull endings. And some incomplete histories that kept me thinking What happened next?

Update: she laid on Monday and Tuesday, I think she is increasing the size of eggs, now I will give her the second dose of albendazole hoping it wasn't the reason of this issue, I will update if something wrong happens, thank you.
