Lethargic 12 week old pullet

I'm sorry to hear this about your SS. Have you tried to open her eye lids and shining a flash light in them to see if you get a normal pupil reaction? - much like an eye doctor does with humans. Doing this at dusk or in a dark room would be best and you'll probably need a helper to hold her.
Also I'm wondering if there could be some debris or something in there causing irritation, like gritty sand or dirt? Have you tried flushing the eyes? If there is no goo or bubbles it doesn't sound like an infection which is good.
I will look at her eyes again tomorrow. I think she is good enough for me to go to my son's. I gave her a dose of dewormer (liquid for goats), and will follow up in the morning. Just staying the night.

Going to be hot tomorrow.

Going to take the pair with me. They have a catio I built some time back in the shady back yard, the cat doesn't use it anymore. Going to be 96 for the next two days and humid, so I'd rather monitor them and make sure they have dewormer. Their flock mates aren't really showing any signs of similar issues.

Given the stress that may be created by transporting them and moving them about, I would suggest some electrolytes to help. Good luck with everything.

Let us know know how they tolerate the trip. Any eye pictures in good light would be helpful.
Since I will be gone overnight, I've decided against taking them with me. The pullet is indeed still under the weather but the cockerel is doing much better than he was a few days ago, and I was really only going to take him so she would not be all by herself.

I think the added stress of transportation and new environment for the day and night and then having to reintegrate them is worse than me not being able to monitor them. I had an open coop space I cleaned out yesterday that is cooler and now clean with fresh bedding.

They are still able to get to the run from this coop with a little changing so I think this works best for her.

Just no free ranging today and part of the day tomorrow, which actually seems to perk her up.
