She was! She never liked people much, but we thought she was cute anyways. Our first EE is now 5-6 years old and has stopped laying, so she is enjoying her retirement with the rest of her flock. This hen and her sister were supposed to be the next generation of Easter Eggers (From TSC..) but this poor sweetheart never laid and her sister lays brown eggs..
Oh well. Sorry TSC but I don’t think I’ll never getting chicks there again..if I can resist it. Of course, we will keep her sister, we love her too! I just feel bad for her since she isn’t really making friends with the other chickens. She only likes the chickens in the special breeding pens. Haha. Thankfully our rooster is nice to her, and the other hens mostly ignore her.
