Just bought 8 chickens, one week old. One is very lethargic, laying on its side and not active at all. I've been giving him sugar water, electrolytes and probiotics via a syringe, but I'm seeing no improvement. He has no pasty butt. Not eating. Havent seen him poop.
Anything else I should do.... Nobody else is sick.
Also, I have a chicken that has a blood toe. His nail fell off and half the toe appears dead. Not bothering him. Will it work itself out as he gets older?
