Lethargic chick

It's hard to say. But you've started her on medication an that's really all you can do, and hope for the best. I was in a touch and go with both of my chicks when they were small, and they had the same symptoms as yours. They are ok now, at 6.5 weeks. What temp do you have the chick at?

Ok, that sounds right for the age. I'd say the perking up is a good sign. Keep us posted. If you starts to eat or drink I'd start to feel a lot better. You haven't changed food recently?

Do you have syringe,in case you need to hand feed her? Right amount of Corid in water? Pulsating butt is fine.

Yes I have a syringe and have been hand feeding her the corridor water. She still isn't eating much. Should I do some wet cat food or do you guys suggest something else? I'm just so relieved that she's alive this morning !!

No just her chick feed, certain foods can interfere with medication. Are you using the right dosage of corid? Have you treated all the other chicks?

I'm using the Corid powder. Since I only have 5 chicks I'm mixing it a quart at a time with 1/4 tsp Corid. She ate some oatmeal this morning before I saw not to give her anything else. She doesn't seem to be eating her chick feed so I'm desperate for anything. She's still fluffy and tired. Her poop is pretty liquid. Is there anything else I should look for or do differently?

So here is her latest poop. I'm hoping that is a positive sign that things are on the mend. She will drink from a syringe and ate a little yogurt from the syringe but won't take anything dry. I'm okay with giving her the Corid water by syringe but don't want to over do it. Any kind of guidelines?
