My 3 year old Americana chicken (the one in profile pic) isn’t doing too well. First noticed last week when she had green poop stuck to feathers outside of her vent. As of right now she won’t eat food, except for mealworms, has lost almost all of her weight but her feathers still look good and she still drinks water. This afternoon she was too weak to stand up on her own but still has her eyes open and looks at food as if she wants to eat. At first I thought she was egg bound as one of my rhode island reds was a couple weeks ago however when I felt around in her vent white particle stuff only came out and couldn’t go very far at all. I washed the green hard poop away and she seems more alert right now but still won’t really eat. I think it might be worms , but we’ve never had the problem before and the rest of the flock is doing great. If anyone has any suggestions or knows what it could be please comment , can take all the help I can get.

Can you post some pictures of her and her poop?
I cleaned the poop off of her , but she doesn’t look too much different except for when I pick her up and she is definitely lighter. I think it’s sour crop and have been treating her for that for an hour or so but she still won’t eat.

Go to TSC or another feed store and buy Safeguard liquid goat wormer. Dose her and the rest of your chickens orally using a syringe without a needle. Dosage for each chicken is 0.23ml per pound for 5 days. Dosing them orally with the wormer ensures they are properly wormed.
It's best to worm them first thing in the morning prior to feeding time.
