Lethargic Chicken... UPDATE-Another hen sick!

I felt around her butt and it felt very empty, so I don't think she is egg bound. Thank you for the suggestion though! I just went out to check on her and she was laying down.

I had two birds that were like this. Unfortunately, i was really late on helping them, and one passed out. I managed to save the other though. Step one check for parasites. Step two deworm. I guess using medication in this case would be more helpful than using apple vinegar or garlic etc. I hope you can save her.

I consulted my vet for doing this, and i gave the dewormer with the food and the antibiotics with the water.

Moxie's droppings look like dehydration,, seems like the pellets (?) are not disolved.
If they are making strange breathing noises, it's most likely respiratory.

Okay.. decision time. I have Pig-Swig and Wazine. Which should I use? And how much should I give her? AND can I keep doing the antibiotics at the same time as the wormer, or is that a big no-no?

How are your chicks today??? Is moxie doing any better?? Can you tell if sunshine's symptoms are the same as what moxie is exhibiting?? They sound differnet to me!!
For Moxie, I would try some bugs/worms to see if she will take those since you are having a hard time with the foods. I donot remember if you said egg, but scramble those. You can add vitamins, fruit... Mine take that well. You can get mealworms from pet stores if you have a hard time collecting bugs from yard. If there is green in her poo then you need to be getting food in her as she will not last long. Does she stumble and just nestle down when you try to get her to move or does she just stand?
I do not know about the respiratory...I have had one that has been sneezy for a while, but has no other symptoms and it is not contagious??
