Help! I first noticed my 2 YO hen was acting strange. She was a bit lethargic and withdrawn. As the days went by her comb began to pale and she began to have trouble with her balance. I dewormed thinking it was anemia brought on by a parasitic infestation. Her legs also have a few purplish spots. Is this normal for a bad case of roundworms? Anyone have any other pointers? I have been reading almost non stop these past few days but I want to be sure I haven't overlooked any other issues. Thanks!

What do you mean by purple spots on her feet? Could you post a pic? I don't think that worms can get this bad.
When you say that she is having trouble with her balance, does it look like she can't feel her feet, just looses focus, or what?
