Aww bless! Do they pick on her?

She's just a loner... She doesn't even like us She's been that way since we bought her. She has another Cochin she hangs out with that's white named Chicken Little. They don't really pick on her because she's always doing her own thing. I've never seen an anti social chicken until I got these Cochins.

Well she’s been laying on her stomach mostly now...only rolled onto her back 2 or 3 times. Still not much neurological improvement. She was holding her head up a little bit this morning...but I’m still not sure if she’ll pull through. I’m trying all I can. She still had these fits that almost looks like seizures but it looks like it’s muscle contractions.

New question for ya’ll...when she’s laying down she leans to one side so one side of her face is almost always against something. That eye is getting a little crusted or irritated around the outside of it. Is there anything I can do to help it?

Do you have any saline wash for contacts (sterile)? Or Veterycin spray or terramycin eye ointment? Even neomycin will work if that all you have to put right around the outside of her eye.

I have veterycin spray, and I always have saline (I’m a paramedic...that’s a staple in our house...lol). I’ll have to see if I have any ointment. I might have some from the horses.

Can you take a thick towel an wrap it around her to support her while she’s on her belly? So she doesn’t fall over or is she able to stay on her belly now?

I tried the towel, I tried her in a box with a towel...when she has the muscle contractions it flips her over backwards over top of everything...trust me I’ve tried!
