Lethargic hen, Impacted egg? drinking not eating

If she hasn’t passed the egg by tomorrow morning, could you try to see a vet? They can vaccum out the egg contents more safely than trying to do it oneself. Someone posted about the same thing a few days ago. I will look for the thread.

Now I'm second guessing the egg, on second inspection I couldn't feel it but am so timid about going 'in', she's pooping green and slimy. No more blood thank goodness.
A vet runs about 300 a visit, but debating it.
I've reviewed all the posts, you tube, and while it's similar I just can't get a definite read from her posture and there's no tail pumping like she's needing to lay.
All the best, newbie after even 4 years!

The egg could also be a soft or shell-less egg, if there is an egg causing the problem. Those can be hard to lay. But it is good that she is able to pass droppings. Does the vent look the same? Let us know what happens later. Good luck.

Some progress today, she's moving more, ate about 1/2 cooked egg on her own, & got a 1/2 oz slurry of calcium, water, olive oil, probiotics, liver, and egg down her as well.
Still drinking on her own and comb color better. Soaked her again this morning.
No progress on the vent, still looks the same. Used more Vaseline, but still prolapse.
Going to try prep H this afternoon and hoping to hear from a farm vet today.
Thanks again for all the support.

Made it to a vet, she has abnormal egg bound and vet can't access it currently. Doing fluid, vitamin, calcium injections and some pain management to help her pass egg on her own. Hopefully by Fridaywhen they reopen we'll have an egg, healthy chicken, and good news.

We are 1 week in and still no egg, but she is slowly looking and acting more normal. Vet says it can be up to 2 weeks after starting treatment that she'll lay. Or the issue is physical and we will have to make the hard call.
Going to post a new thread - she still is fussy about eating and drinking and will look at prior advice and request more if I feel I've exhausted those options.
We've done cooked egg, liver, oats, etc. even mealworms aren't causing her to eat.
We change her water couple times of day, keeping it cool, even adding ice on really hot days.
