I am really sorry that you lost her. Your state vet could do a thorough necropsy if her body is kept cold and take in to them today. She may have had some birth related issue, or a chronic coccidiosis or other problem that made her not thrive. Here is a list of state vet labs to contact:

I've got a pet hen that is lethargic. She's a little older so doesn't lay anymore. I got her to eat and drink but she's just not acting right today. The last week or so, she's been wanting to sleep in the garage and not in the coop. She's never been one to be social with the other chickens. They almost killed her one time. Luckily, it was during the pandemic so I was home and was able to bring her inside and take care of her. Is there anything else I can do for her?

I have a hen that is lethargic. She's not exhibiting any other symptoms. She is eating and drinking just acts extra sleepy. I have noticed that for about a week she hasn't been wanting to sleep in the coop. It's not entirely unusual for her not to socialize with the others. She's been a loner since they nearly killed her five years ago. I am concerned though and wonder if there is any special food I can try to pep her up. She no longer lays eggs so I don't think eggbound is the issue.
