Hi I have a poorly, lethargic hen.

She is hunching her neck and looks quite big, I think her feathers are slightly lifted making her appear bigger.

She feels ok, still has plenty of meat and I can feel her breast bone.

Her poo is yellow with green and is firm not runny.

Her crop appears to be empty, I can feel it, it feels small and firm not balloon like normal. So I guess she is not eating.

We do have red mite and have been treating for a while, although not gone it is quite a small infestation.

We have just dusted all the birds again and have started worming again just to be sure.

Many thanks

Sorry forgot to actually ask a question, any thoughts or other things I can check?

Hunching her neck could be a sign of capillary worms. Worm her with either valbazen liquid cattle/sheep wormer or safeguard liquid goat wormer, then repeat worming her again 10 days later. Dosage for either wormer is 1/2cc orally undiluted.
It's also imperative that you eliminate the red mites. They can cause anemia, then death.
