Have you check to see if there is any moldy feed, bedding, anything rotten they can get into, etc.?
If you have vet care, that would be best.
It's very hard to know what's going on with your flock. Looking quickly back at your postings you have treated for Cocci and worms. You also were losing chickens as well.
If you lose this one, I encourage you to send her for necropsy so you can hopefully get some clear answers.
She is still alive this morning, huddled by a wall eyes closed!! She has no meat on her breast bone. She did a day or two ago. I have been checking them as I dose them with meds.
There is one vet in the area that treats chickens but my work schedule precludes me from getting to her while she's open.
I am going to reach out to our state ag department and see if they can help or make suggestions.
Well good golly. Today my Buff Orpington is running around like nobody's business. Eating, drinking water. Only thing is she keeps her eyes closed A LOT.
I did have 2 eggs instead of one today, so maybe it's the toll of laying her first egg? I have 8 others with her so other than one hen I know is laying its anybody's guess.
