My ~2yo bovans brown has suddenly become very lethargic and quiet. She’s not a super high energy girl to begin with, but right now she’s kind of hunched over and very still in the coop and keeps closing her eyes. She had normal energy levels this morning when I let her out. She didn’t eat much breakfast, but she forages during the day so that’s not too unusual.

I checked her over and don’t see or feel anything wrong, but I’m new to chickens and might not know what I’m looking for.

Ive included a link to another recent post about Lulu’s laying strike, in case that’s connected. https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/laying-strike.1537823/#post-25946623

She has perked up in the last hour, so maybe she was just down for a midday nap. I checked her crop, and it doesn’t seem impacted or even particularly full, but I’m not really an expert on that. I currently have her isolated for monitoring with lots of water and no food.
