Hi Friends! I have a 3 month old cream leghorn chicken who is usually very interested in every single thing and the first one to greet me when I come to the coop. This afternoon I went to give the girls some veggie treats she did not come to meet me immediately, and I noticed she was in a corner just being still. She isn't one to be held but she has been in my lap just chilling for the past 30 minutes. I've checked her vent and it is clear, her crop is not hard at all. She is a little puffed up but not bad. It has been in the 60s all day. She does feel like she may have a bit of a chill. Her little under wings and legs are shivering but she feels normal temperature. What should I do????

Can you get some photos of her poop?

How does her crop feel - is it empty?
What do you feed?

It won't hurt to give her some extra heat and hydration as suggested previously.
Just make sure she's able to get to a cooler spot so she's not overheating.
