Lethargic Rooster

Yesterday we trimmed the best we could around his eyes, but when I get home from school I will work on that some more, along with getting pictures of his feet and legs. I will have someone at home that is able to give him the nutri drench and use the Vet Rx on him.
This morning he was laying almost all the way on his side and my mom said that his feet were cold...is there a chance that may be a sign of something?
He is still alert and although he isn’t clucking, he still will move his head and look at you. He also still shows signs of having an appetite.
It can be very hard to know what's going on with a chicken.

It's possible that he may be suffering from disease like Marek's, usually the cause of decline is not known until you lose them and have a necropsy performed.

Are all the lice dead now that you treated him?

I will ask someone at home to check him over and get back to you on that.
If it is Mareks, is there any chance that I can eliminate it from the coop or would it be permanent? He doesn’t have raised skin follicles or labored breathing...so hopefully it isn’t Mareks.
Is it possible that lice can cause paralysis?

Mareks is spread through the dander and dust from feathers. Once a chicken has Mareks, the environment can be contaminated with the virus for a long time. The best way to get a diagnosis is to get a necropsy through your state vet if he dies or you put him down. I would go get some vitamin E, and start some treatment with that and your chick vitamin/electrolyte. This is a detailed article about Mareks:

Marek's lives in the environment for a very long time (years) so no, you can't really eliminate it.
There are 4 types of Marek's - Ocular (affects the eyes), Cutaneous (raised follicles/bumps on the skin), Neural and Visceral (affecting the organs/tumors).
So not having raised follicles or trouble breathing does not mean it can't be Marek's. If you lose him, having some testing is the only way to know for sure what happened.

The lice have not helped his condition, but likely they are not the cause of his paralysis.

Thankyou so much for all the help.
I will keep updating on his condition, but if he continuously gets worse then maybe putting him down would be the nicest thing I can do...I hope it doesn’t get to that point but we will see.

update on the rooster:
We have gotten in touch with a vet who is knowledgeable in avian veterinary care. My main concern other then getting him better was finding out if he had Mareks disease, due to the contagiousness of it. After talking to the vet and giving him a rundown of what the symptoms were and what we had been doing so far, he said that he thinks it could be worms such as gape worm or even an ear infection. He also doesn’t believe it’s Mareks, but that isn’t our of the equation quite yet. He suggested a broad spectrum wormer and also a antibiotic, so we will be getting those tomorrow.
Today the rooster is seeming to do better, and is definitely more perked up and alert than he had been. Still looses his balance and is laying down most of the time, but is able to move his legs. I was able to wash most of the droppings of his back end and get him cleaned up, he is having diarrhea but it is better then no bowel movement at all... I was also able to treat all of the other hens and the coop with lice dust. It will be interesting to see if worms or an infection is the problem. But I am definitely glad he is acting more awake :fl
I will update again tomorrow once we are able to start him on the wormer and antibiotic. Thanks again to everyone who helped me out with this situation :)
