My poor Meredith is a 17 wk Olive egger. She was fine last night and this morning, but this afternoon she has gotten SUPER pale.
She is lethargic and slower moving than normal, but not completely inactive. She is eating and drinking some but not as much as normal.
Her poop is yellow and runny, but not foamy at all. None of our chickens have started laying yet.

HELP?! We have 12 babies and she is the only one with symptoms. They are all cooped together. We want to make sure she is ok and that nothing passes to any of our other babies if it is serious or catching.

Lethargic behavior, more than unusual poop is a definite sign of something wrong. As far as contagion, I would place that concern farther down the list.

Have the chickens been on natural soil?

Have you imported any sand or top soil if your chickens have been free ranging?

Have they been digging in compost?

Have you checked their feed for spoilage? Signs of clumping and bad odor?

Usually when they get sick like that they die in couple of days or weeks and not much can be done. You can try feed premixed with antibiotics or buy vitamins to mix with their drinking water. Hopefully she will get better and no other will have it as well. Also check their area and especially coop if everything looks healthy.
