The three small trees that I have to remove before I can build my house are probably going to get pushed over by the builder and piled up. I think I'll turn them into firewood since my house has a fireplace in the family room and one on the lanai.

There's a bunch of large bush/small trees on one side that I'll be clearing. It would probably make good kindling. I may as well use the wood, right?

It's illegal around here. It's not particularly good for the environment, so I don't expect to light fires often, but once in a while is fun.

We have too many idiots around who would set everything on fire. We also have too many people in general, so if everyone had wood stoves and fireplaces we'd be looking at the old London fogs/pollution.
