My best friend takes excellent care of her meaties. She doesn't raise them anymore due to the fact her husband refused to harvest them and she just didn't have the time or energy after having a baby.

She raised the Silver Foxes for meat, but she also had her pet Mini Rexes. They had run of the whole basement and got to come upstairs every day. They were altered and kept UTD on vet work. She just lost her last Rex to cancer.

I agree, it’s like raising chickens for meat. Rabbit educators are trying to steer people out of it because of the mistreatment that most meat rabbits get. People who raise them well are doing the right thing

Say what you want to but the current day Rabbit owners/educators are trying to steer people away from raising rabbits for meat, the rabbits are very highly mistreated during their short lives, it’s sad.

Excellent for eating, and mistreatment only happens with individuals who do not desire success in their endeavors.
