Let's Get Strippin' "Fabric Strip Swap" CLOSED

WriterofWords, you are such a good teacher and I can see how inspiring you are. Looking over that math paper makes my head hurt.

These days...........I like to keep things simple.
I don't miss teaching high school math. Math has never been a strong subject for me. I am helping my grandsons learn to count, add, subtract and fractions - I'm happy with that.

I have all my fabric washed and dried. Once I finish the Depression blocks, I'll get to pressing and cutting. I would really like to do other fabric swaps in the future. There really are so many block patterns that would make great use of these strips.

I think the next swap we do (before years end) will be a fat quarter swap. I need to get some feedback on it form others in here. So all who read this post....let me know your feelings on this.
We could actually do this and it only last a ocuple of weeks. Hmmm.

Late Saturday, I decided to get the fabric for this swap all ironed and ready to cut. I got the red with black and the white with red all ironed and folded nicely. I went to unfold the black with white and found that it had been cut. I had pulled the fabric weeks ago, but didn't unfold it. I really don't remember using this black fabric. I wish I had seen it as just last week I bought the red with black.
Anyway........... We were driving by Joann Fabric Sunday afternoon and my very sweet husband waited while I shopped just for that one piece. I didn't want to make another trip - gas is too expensive. It's washed and waiting to be ironed and then I will cut the strips. I'm thinking it will get done very early tomorrow morning before milking.
