Mutts rule!!!
My 4 babies at the moment, just over 2 weeks old are all mutts. Their dads were either Silver Spangled Hamburg or Silver Laced Wyandotte and the mumma's were either Araucana, Silver Spangled Hamburg and Isa Brown. Dont care that they are not purebreds, they are all gorgeous in my eyes! And as long as the hens lay eggs and the boys are well behaved I will be wrapped.
I did have dreams of breeding purebred Brown Leghorns, but i think its a bit of a surprise to see what you end up with - with mutts

I've got 33 mutt eggs in my bator now, due to hatch on/around the 8th!! 12 are EE/ either BG or SLRW sire. 21 are a variety of EE, SLW, GLW, SLRW, BA, and BG dams/SLRW sire. Can't wait to greet them and share pics!!!
