Our chicks arrived this morning
I have been looking at pics all morning on the internet and am at a loss as to what we have, lol. Can anyone help identify these breeds? They are from the Meyer Hatchery rainbow layers assortment, if that's any help (it hasn't been a help to me!)
Chick #1 - we only have one of these little ladies, the only yellow chick in the bunch, with fuzzy legs
Chick #2 - we only have one of these as well, light tanish coloring
Chick #3 - we have several of these. I am thinking EE/Americaunas, as they look like little chipmunks. They are the only onees I have any clue on, so i am hoping i am not wrong
Chick #4 - we have several of these as well. Look a lot like the ones I think are EE/Americaunas, but they don't have the chipmunk markings. Just the same light and dark brown coloring. Darker brown through the center of the back, between the wings; lighter brown on either side
Chick #5 - these ones are cracking me up. We have three of these. Yellow and black with little mushrooms of yellow feathers on their heads. My SO has started calling them the Don King chicks and my 7 year old calls them the mushroom chicks
Chick #6 - these look just like the mushroom head chicks, but without the mushroom heads. We have a bunch of these as well
Thanks in advance for any help!!
