I got a dozen or so chicks from TSC and have a few stumpers. Most of them seem to match what they were sold as but what do you think these are? Mostly care about breed at the moment as they're still young but if you see any telltales, throw 'em out there.

The first two came out of a bin that was marked Silkies and (I think) assorted Bantams. Obv not silkies and I'm not too familiar with bantam breeds. I would guess #2 is a silver Sebright and going by just feathering over the past 3 weeks, #1 is a pullet and #2 is a roo. 3 weeks old.

#3 - we joke that we got a quail because it is sooo tiny. Came out of assorted bantam bin. 1 week behind the others above (so 2 weeks old in the first pictures here).

And older size pictures just for fun. Day old #3 next to a not even 2 week old standard buff orp.

2 weeks of growth between these and the first pictures above.

I'm back with updates!

#1 looks to be a beautiful Japanese bantam (I hadn't even heard of them until you guys suggested it but I'm in love!)

#2 is a light brahma! (Comb is still light, fingers crossed for a little lady!)

#3 is still a headache. Smallest bird, but definitely a roo. A few of you said crele oegb but he isn't really showing any gold. Barred maybe? Or will the gold come later?
