landscape astro for the win
Stunning! What camera do you use?
For that shot I used a Canon 80D with a Sigma 18-35 F1.8 Art lens.Stunning! What camera do you use?
About 18 seconds at f/1.8?For that shot I used a Canon 80D with a Sigma 18-35 F1.8 Art lens.
I started around there but I think they trailed a little. Ended up at 10 seconds. This was the first time I tried stacking software too. So that was 5 shots and a dark frame stacked. I don't really think the stacking was that necessary in this case because I was only at ISO 400 and there wasn't really any noise. I'm going to try higher iso next time and let the stacking software reduce the noise. I'm just getting started at astro so I'm still feeling everything out.....About 18 seconds at f/1.8?
What stacking software are you using? I've been doing a lot of single frame but I've been debating doing more stacks and even building a simple barndoor tracker to mess around with.I started around there but I think they trailed a little.
