Lets see pics of your PALLET COOPS!

I've subscribed to this thread so I can keep a eye on other pallet coops! Since the beginning of this year, I have decided to build a bigger, better, coop...from pallets.

I have a few links I have saved to inspire myself and help with planning. Hubby would help build if I asked him, however, there is something extremely satisfying about doing it myself and saying "I did it myself!"

Here are the links I have, in case you want to take a peek!

As of now, we are in the drawing stage. It's too cold and snowy to do anything else! I did put a want ad on Craigslist for pallets, and got a few good leads.

Thanks for letting me share!

I have 15 pallets waiting to be transformed...if the snow will let up! I like these they have given me a few ideas. I was going for tractors to sell, but I think I will build me another coop instead.

heres mine ( made out of old pallets)

THAT is, without question, the ugliest- and trashiest-looking coop that I've ever seen. I LOVE IT, and so will the chickens.

LOL Thank you sir, you are truely a gentleman and a scholar. TBH after I had posted it and saw no more responses after a while I thought i had shocked the $&it out of the community with the mickey moused coop i busted out!

So good on ya! Haha! My last coop was all nice and trimmed out ( I never really revealed it to the community) painted and pretty pimp compared to this heap. The little ones really, REALLY love it and all the new space they have to romp around in.

I gotta thank everyone for posting their pallet coops. There are more people coming out of the wood works on here with pics than I have been able to google image. Great inspiration for the next time when I'm not forced with a split decision to build the first thing I come up with out of my head. It looks like with a plan, real nice coops can be accomplished for very cheap.

Pallet Coops are the Rat Rods of the Fancy Chicken Coop World! I LOVE THEM! I feel there is a certain pride in making a coop out of Pallets or nifty old items you find around your yard that probably otherwise would have never been good for anything.Good Job Everyone!

You are officially my role model! =] I hope to be as innovated and motivated enough to do something as awesome as building my own chicken house out of pallets!
My fiance, and future father in law both work in factories and are always bringing pallets home. I was planning on using them to make raised garden beds this year, but you have inspired me to try for a coop!
Now, a raised bed, I could most likely do myself, but a chicken coop, I might have to ask some help for. But that's okay!

I just finished rebuilding my little back door henhouse using all recycled materials, including pallets, shipping crates, old fence boards, leftovers from my parents' newly built house, and plywood scraps from the original henhouse, which was pretty much just a plywood box.

I got all fancy and sanded the wood panels so I don't get splinters every time I try to open the door. The windows are covered with plastic from an old rubbermaid bin.
