I teach color theory as part of my classes at school. One theory says that the warm colors (reds, yellows and oranges) cause you to eat more. Think about restaurants. They almost always have really warm colored lights. You almost never see a restaurant with blue or green lighting. Apparently the same can hold true with wall colors.
The moral of this story is that I'm blaming my weight on the kitchen walls.

My wildest color is my candy apple red kitchen. My son was asleep when is started painting it. When he woke up and saw the color he started screaming because he thought the was blood allover the walls. My bedroom is berrywine and sand. The res of the house is still 80'ish yellow yuck. My DD's room will be pink and purple with a glow in the dark ceiling mural of Hannah Montanas guitar logo. I lived in military quarters for six years and white walls make me scream.
