I was teasing you hunny, I do the same with my kids, even the extra holidays. Now my Grandbabies are spoiled and I make no excuse for it. It's in the Mamma handbook.

I have the cricut expressions and it looks like you are in my neck of the woods, (or should it be desert). If you have questions about it you can PM me and I would be happy to help out. I love it..

I sent you a PM.

Ok ya all I did it I bought the Cri Cut expression Machine. It was $300 and then the cartridges were $39.99 each so I bought

Stretch your imagination
Opposites attract
Tinkerbell and friends

So with the 2 cartridges in the box that makes 5 cartridges. A good start right

My ? is some of these cartridges are older and they say that they all work in the exprestion but they also say they are from 1" to 5.5" so my ? is when used in the expression machine can you use it up to the biggest size which is 23.5" x 12", or is it just the 11 sizes from 1"up to 5.5".

Also it doesn't say if the tinkerbell one goes to the largest size of the expression either.

Do any of you have these cartridges and do you like them. Thanks

Great work!!! I have been scrapbooking about 8 years. I'll try to get some photos up soon. I echo the Cricut question--it's a huge investment, so is it worth it? How many plug in cartridges do you really need to get a decent array of letters and images? It looks neat, but...I am cheap and skeptical, lol.

Thanks,

It is my understanding that they will all work up to the size that your machine cuts to.

I have the original cricut and I love it. In fact I love it almost as much as buying the carts, LOL.

So far my collection is up to 18 or 19 carts and I use them all regularly. Customcrops.com runs some pretty good sales so that's where I got most of mine. The biggest problem with ordering them is the what until they get to my door.

One of my scrapping buds said to be careful bidding for them on e-bay, you can usually get them cheaper from some of the regular on line stores.

I'm hoping to upgrade to the expression once my hubby goes back to work (if he ever does). Enjoy your machine, they are so much fun.

About the Cricut, YES it is worth it! (To me at least.)

However, (isn't there always a but?) I purchased a software program yesterday that is making it even more worth it. Sure Cuts a Lot is NOT made by ProvoCraft and using it technically voids your warranty. However, it works with your computer and ANY free font or .svg file out there. In other words, I just exponentially increased the use of my Cricut.

I adore the Cricut. And if you are patient you can find a website with good prices, sign up for their newsletter, wait for a sale, and use a coupon all at the same time. I did this and got a great deal.

I'm by no means an expert on the Cricut, just a very happy customer.

I LOVE TO SCRAPBOOK! Did I mention that I love scrapbooking. Crafting while preserving memories, 2 of my greatest loves. I have taught clasees and sold amny items on ebay and such. Here are a few scrapbook pages that I have sold and a few scrapbook altered items I have made and sold.

And the Cricut is so worth it......... but would also like to mention that I have a wishblade and that is a god-send also. Would love the have the cricut expression and am waiting for it to start coming up on craigslist.
