Actually my avatar is a sketch I did of one of my hens and converted into a black and white format. But since everyone and their moms has already seen that, I'll leave you with this comic I drew the first time we got a broody hen some seven odd years ago.

I should make some new chicken art sometime.

oh wow. that's fast. I probably would have taken 5 months.

I have been working on the same cross-stitch for 3 years. I don't get much chance to work on it. Also, it is not a chicken.

Just finished this cross stitch of my pullet, Rosie.

Super cool! That’s a labor of love!!!! Do you Digitally transfer the image to the needle point media and then start stitching up a storm? Reminds me of pointillism In painting! Thanks for sharing!

Love cartoon art! Your is very cute and I think we can all relate to it! It’s the worst right? Especially when it’s hot. I use to have a flock of silkies and someone would always be broody. This round of birds I seem to have one SLW that will be a challenge. Thanks for posting and your avatar is nice too!
