Let's see your Christmas Trees please...

I'll have to live vicariously through you guys. There will be no tree here in our home this year and I just want to cry. We'll be traveling and there's just no sense in putting one up. I lost my mom 15 years ago this Christmas so Christmas has always been a time to connect to her.

I haven't seen any of my children or grandchildren in over a year since we moved to TN so I promised them I'd go back to NY.

I want my own Christmas tree!

Tennessee I agree with TCL, put it up. It doesn't have to be a big production and take 5 hours! Put up a small tree and hang your favorite ornaments. The ones that bring back happy memories of your Mom. Also

to you, I lost my Mom 8 years ago. Christmas was her favorite holiday, so the first one was really hard for me. I did put up a tree, begrudgingly, and I was glad I did. That was ALL I did that year but the next year it got a little easier. NOW my house looks like Christmas exploded in here! Hang in there sweetie!

we still have to go cut a big tree down.. can hardly wait.. hope the snow holds off..last year froze my bootie off.. will post as soon as we get one. hubby won't let me put one up till i count 15 trees up in other peoples windows.. lol he says its too early.. been playing this game for 37 yrs.. i guarantee it will be up by next weekend..
