We haven't had snow yet, at least not enough to accumulate. I'm hoping it holds off for at least another week, so the lakes all get a chance to get good, solid ice on them (4" minimum). That way fewer of us idiot ice-fishermen will fall through this year.
As soon as we get enough snow for me and little Ava to build one, I'll post a pic of our first snowman of the year. Promise.
Snow is wonderful until you have to get up at midnight and shovel your car out to go to work and then get back up at 3am to shovel again because the plow came through and piled a ton of it behind or beside your car. And then you have to go back out before you leave for work and clean off the car and make sure the windows are defrosted and such! Yuck! Its great if you get to stay home and look at it. (I use to live outside of Philadelphia, so I know the routine)
Would you believe I would drive in the snow storms in my 2001 mustang! I was plowed in so many times at work it wasnt even funny! But I wasnt willing to give up my mustang, It acted as a great sled though while driving down route 309!
I love the snow until it's time to snowblow the rooftops or when it comes down 4 inches per hour all day long and your snowblower dies so you have to hire a backhoe the next day to catch you up again no...I love that part too! Bring it ON!
I HATE snow, I do NOT drive in snow, I TRY not to leave the house in snow (BUT the chickens need me)...give me sunshine and gentle rain anyday...I also HATE the cold bitter wind of winter......dreams of a warm bed..........hibernation for at least four months please.......snore.......
