Me too, especially when i had no chickens. Husband hates it, lol. So it is in my room. I am really thankful for these thick mens socks i bought yesterday. It was hot here this summer but bearable and not as hot as western TN. I doubt it will be as cold or have as much snow as NS, so we should be good. Just wish we would get some rain.

And we hope it stops raining! I wish we could send it your way!!

Yes, we love it in the woods on our 13 acres. Right on the Pigg River. Just wish i had a bath tub here.

Ok, here starts the boredom overload..

I decided to start a "skinny tree" with Chicken theme for the past Christmas in my kitchen:


Made stockings and personalized for my 6 hens.


Bought 3 BR ornaments from BYC Store --- they only had BR left…so next year hope to add 3 BO's to complete my 1/2 dozen.


Made ornaments out of 3 of my first eggs: have been sitting around for 1.5 years with no idea how to use those.


A Hallmark past keepsake ornament - got it on amazon.

We looked a long time and drove thousands of miles in at least 5 states to find a place we liked on a river with more than 10 acres. It has only 2 closets and no attic space, plus the basement is a crawl space and too damp to store anything. One small shed. So we added 2 12x20 custom built sheds, one for a workshop and one as a garage for the Mule. And i built a chicken coop. Next is the goat shed.
The picture is my chicken coop, still under construction.
