Those are the special things that belonged to our parents or grandparents. Your dad's roo is beautiful. Deserves a place of honor. No it's not but should be. lol it was my dads and since he came to live with us he gave it to me, I love it.
So sorry, wish I still had them and would give them to you. Years ago had a trailer, AKA, mobile or modular vacation home at Mexico Beach,FL. Had cement pelicans in the yard and collection of smalls in the trailer. Even gave away my x-stitch stuffOh man, you let your pelican stuff go? Shoot. I love pelicans.
Thanks for the compliment my dh calls it all clutter. The placemats are washable thank goodness , the cup with rooster was actually a set of 2 but one came broken through the mail a gift from my Aunt and Uncle so I decided to use the one to hold pens and pencils. I have tin signs outside my dd got me too.You have a great collection and a talent for display.
The cup with pencils, is that a rooster?
I love fabrics and sewing, the placemats are awesome. If they are washable, I would think about turning them into a quilted table cloth or bedspread Just too pretty to hide under a place setting![]()
You needed a new theme when you moved to Ga. inlandSo sorry, wish I still had them and would give them to you. Years ago had a trailer, AKA, mobile or modular vacation home at Mexico Beach,FL. Very nice (both the roo and your dad for giving it to you)!
They are awesome and love the little brown sugar one, I'd not want to hide in in a bag either.
This thread makes me a lil sad....what about all the duckie lovers?other poultry too.![]()
Anyhooo nice to see all of your collections. On mother's day I will have to take a pic of my *step-monsters* cobalt blue chicken candy dish.
In the very first post I am pretty sure I specified it was for anyone with fowl or chicken decor or any kind of country theme... feel free to share!!!
