Let's share our chicken decor!

Pics
@NorthFLChick you don't have to move tha tv, don't want you hurting yourself….wait for spring cleaning time?

My craft interests are varied, I get bored with doing the same things all the time. Used to do the One-stroke painting. Not chicken, but if interested I can post a couple of things. It's not real art talent, but is fun to do.

Let's see your One-stroke painting things!

Ok:

The one between my rooster wall lamps from early post on this thread---supposed to be poppies..

And brighter lights don't make it look any better.

Next is a tray - my first try at Donna Dewberry's technique.

And a really cheap table I got at flea market. Used first as chair side, now it's a plant stand.

I have also painted a bathroom mirror, laundry hamper, a really bad big pic of flowers. When you stop laughing I'll post those.

Really want to try chickens. Using the One Stroke blue bird method could work…but my attempts to draw the basic shapes were too funny to pursue…..maybe one day.

I love the tray, but they are all lovely.. I wish I had your talent.

I really like your red pot rest. It reminded me that I had these tucked away lol gotta love rooster decor! Works great for a kitchen theme!

Thank You! Where we live and the style of our kitchen made me think of a country kitchen.. Roosters and Hens just seemed the appropriate decor, and I had a great time finding all my little treasures to decorate with.

@Six Goldies This is not talent. I cannot draw or paint. This is the Donna Dewberry One Stroke Folk Art and IMO if I can do it, then anyone can do it…..

The first tray was so easy, the paint I used to spray the tray yellow let me wash off the paint and repaint til it was passable..
