yea, I am an avid Lava Lamp collector, I find Archimedes Principle absolutly memorizing. I have them all over my house, I have many in my AstroZone (my study space).
I am an astronomy/science geek so I have a study that only and astrophysicist would upkeep. Its not chicken related, but here is a pic of my AstroZone.



And some more of my Lava Lamp collection on my mantle. I just have them tucked just about everywhere I can stick them. My house is oozing with the memorizing relaxation
of lava lamps just about everywhere you look. Company love to come over and just watch all the lamps do their thing.

And I like those big mugs. Tea cups are pretty, but I need my caffeine in a mug! (plus I'm a bit klutzy, so... maybe not trustworthy with the good china.)

We Found these at a yard sale.. Our duck egg's fit with veggies and some bacon.. Egg coddlers..

But I think we all need this sign.

Egg coddlers! Wow, that brought back a trip down memory lane...my mom got some of those on a trip to Canada back when we were little kids. It was always a special occasion when she brought them out for us to eat out of. Haven't thought of those coddlers in years, sure wish I knew where they were now (and if she'd let me have them, lol).

Love the lava lamps, they were THE big deal when I was a teen...mine had purple blobs and Dad was always telling me to turn it off. I think he was worried something was going to get too hot and explode.

And you have globes! I have a weird fascination for globes. I especially like maps, I love looking at them. Give me an atlas and I'm a happy camper, lol.

Wow! That is so cool! I love lava lamps too, though I don't have the knowledge of them that you have. I'll bet people are really relaxed at your house. And your study is amazing!

Thanks!! I have quite a few of them. I have learned over the years how to fix them when the wax starts to sit at the bottom. Most people at that point just throw them out and get a new one. Me I get my chemistry hat on and re-solitifiy the liquid to make it more buoyant so that the wax will rise when it is heated. The basics of Archimedes Principle. They are fun to mess with.
