I've read all of the LOTRs books including the Simirilion (think Greek history) and all of the HP books. Tuck Everlasting is about a family that discovers "the fountain of youth". They travel around the states and never stay in one place too long, but they always return to their land with the fountain on it. The story tells what happens when a little girl meets them, and what happens when someone else discovers them.
Has anyone read "Kingdom of Landover for Sale: Sold!" ?
Oh, and UnderHisWings, I'm homeschooled too! Yay!
Are we going to have another book poll?
Thanks for the synopsis. Sounds interesting...maybe a little strange. :p Fluffballs is homeschooled as well! :D (She's my sister

) Ooh! I hope we have another poll. Oh, and I haven't read "Kingdom of Landover..." Has an intriguing title, though...

Landover is pretty interesting, but it has to be edited fairly heavily for bad language. There aren't any "really bad" swear words, but I still took a pen to mine.

That's too bad. :/
I know. It really makes me sad when I can't read a book because the author filled it with profanity and inappropriate content. It's totally unnecessary and because the world thinks that it's "cool" to swear all the time, there are a lot of books that I'd like to read but can't. Namely most of the sci/fi, Military sci/fi genre.

Oh well, at least there are lots of books in the library!

I haven't... Right now, I'm reading Richard Carvel by Winston Churchill. It's a historical fiction set during the Revolutionary War. Oddly enough, the main character (Richard Carvel) is for independence, even though Churchill was English. Interesting. Anyway, I'm really enjoying it and being able to read a book I can't get through in one day! It's 536 pages of fairly small type, so it should keep me going for awhile. :) His style of writing took me a few pages to get used to, but now I'm starting to talk like I'm from the book... :p The one downer is that he does have a few dashed out swear words in it. :-/ Couldn't you have left those out, Mr. Churchill?

Agh! That was me who wrote that. I just hadn't signed out of my sister's account...
