Lets talk about goats!

Goats are feeling way better. Eating way more, went for a walk, and warming up to us. Is half an apple for each okay a day? Worried about messing with their stomachs . I'm going to look for that blue stuff for feet today.

We used to use something called Koppertox.  It came in a can and was blue.  We just put it on the affected feet and it cleared up the affected feet very quickly.  I am unsure of the spelling.  We got it at the livestock supply.

How often do you put it on? We did it yesterday. Also had to treat them for lung worm. Then last night he had a little blood on his nose. Ugh. I have someone coming to look them over.

No not yet. I have a vet appointment Fri to get them checked out. Then I'll know for sure what is wrong and how much is wrong. Poor babies. They are super sweet and we will do whatever we can to get them better. Just stinks that we're having this many issues with our first ones. Pretty sure one of them has an eye problem too. Ugh

Bronchitis and eye infection and one is not castrated. We apparently are handling the hoof rot well almost gone. And my boys were so good at vet. Think some one on one time helped. They were following me around after lol. Thanks!

Poor babies :( and poor you! You should not have to be dealing with this for your first goats or even your hundreth goat! :hugs have you talked to the seller yet? You probably should because they either knew about it and sold them anyway which is most likely imo (and rotten) or they somehow had no idea and telling them might be a good idea so they can treat the others

I called her and left a message. I think it's like taking keys away from grandma. I don't think it was intentional but also don't think she can handle all of it because health issues. Looking into who else to call.
