Lets talk about goats!

Do people who raise goats rent pasture like people who raise cattle do? I might have a need to help clear some land and goats could be useful but even non registered goats aren't cheap. Seems like it should be possible to work out a mutually beneficial agreement with someone who could use a pasture, free pasture in exchange for them eating my brush away for me.

Here in Wisconsin, people rent goats to clear land of weeds, it's a growing business, more people want a more natural approach to getting rid of weeds, goats are good at it.

Some of the cities in the Cleveland area rent goat herds to clear out vacant lots, cemetaries, things like that. It's pretty cool!

They are so cute! Our dog was our first kid's mother. Although she gave that up when she realized how much more attention he got then her...

This will be a country pasture of significant size. If I have to rent goats I might as well start a herd myself!

They are adorable !!! I've always wanted some pygmys but I only have Boer Kiko crosses.

I think the dairy wethers are more friendly than pygmies, I lik the name Steve.
