When we bred our two goats it was hard to tell if they were pregnant or not. We think the older one, Bonnie, had a false pregnancy or the baby died early in development because she looked pregnant but never gave birth.

However, from the pictures and information, I'd guess both of yours are pregnant.

ok that makes sense now, their udders are fairly large still, I am expecting my first babies In may, so i am new to this, sorry i can't be more help

This will be the second time I have had my does give birth since we bought them. The first time we were totally unprepared! Hopefully we will do better this time.

How long after my female "bags up"do they normally kid? She is been acting not her self the last few days she's been a little lazier than normal

Each goat is different. Some will start bagging up a month before kidding, but most usually don't start to really bag up until a week or less before kidding. Mine don't start until a few hours before they kid.

PS: Their are two hard ligaments on either side of the spine at the base of the tail, shortly before they kid these ligaments become soft and sometimes disappear.

I need help!!!!!!! My momma goat just rejected one of her kids!!!! I kind of know why...( it got out of its pin some how and a dog got in the outer pin) it roughed the kid up a little a few scratches but other then that fine.... So we tried to put the kid back in with its mom and she started to head but him

.... So we quickly took him out and rubbed him down with a warm wet paper towel.... And tried to get him to latch... And it's like every time he gets close the momma freaks out and knows some how and does not let him.... He(kid) seems really sad.... Any way we have him in a cage In The house and we have tried to feed him supplement out of bottle he has drank some but I feel like it's not a lot... Please I need some advice thanks

First off... How old is the baby, Has Mom Had kids before, and do you have another doe in milk?

Sometimes a goat will disown a kid for reasons only she knows. I had one doe that had two kids, a buck and a doe. She thought the buck was wonderful but she picked up the doe kid by the ear and threw it as far as she could.

You have several alternatives. You can milk the doe and feed the kid its mother's milk from a bottle. You can tie her up very short, hold her, and put the kid by her teat so he can nurse.You can feed the kid milk or replacer from a bottle. Plain old cow's milk from the store works better than replacer. You can remove both kids and put them with her only at feeding time. Tie her up very short and put both kids on her at the same time so they can nurse. I would say do this about 4 times a day. After a few days of this she may accept the reject.
