Gorgeous!! How do u get your cuckoos to throw white sports?? I am so in love with the white marans!

White chicks coming out of the Silver cuckoo line is a good thing. because they are silver bassed rather than golden bassed bird. So they are going to be pure white.
yeah your line carry the white gene as recessive C/c+.

your 2end Silver cuckoo roster is stunning nice type ,nice tail( shape and angle) light colored feet need more feathers.the back of his comb could be a little tidy .

As many as I hatch, it is about 2 in 12 as I see it.
I thought I had a Bieleflder hen in my silver Cuckoo Pen, but so far as we have looked, there is none, and the hens in the pen all have the same bands on...and so after all these years THIS just happens ?

Hi every body here are few photos of the white Marans at Sydney Easter Show th.e cockerel scored Best Male of the breed and the pullet got 2end Any other color variety .

I have no idea, I am pretty much a doofus with genetics. If I need to know something I ask experts.
In this case (and a few other issues with several flocks/breeds I have) I ask 4-5 people (like Bev Davis, flying MonkeyPoop, and so on) and everyone has a different answer, further confuses my brain.....

Hatching 12 eggs usually is giving me 2 whites.
I think there is 5-6 hatched now, I do a set every week of any eggs that are over 4 days old (and did not sell)
I have had a few people buy the hatching eggs and I have not heard back as yet, if anyone got whites.

Good day you guys in the US.
yeah your flock is throwing about 18% white chicks .
now you need to separate the 2 varieties. to do that is easy .1)breed the white to the white to get a pure white ( like the one I posted from the show. they come from a cuckoo marans)
2) you need to single mate your hen to your rooster to catch the hen ho is responsible for this white chicks
