Let's talk ducks

[Three Fat Ducks]

I have Three Fat ducks. 1 x male mallard and 2 female pekins...
This morning I went to let them out and the drake couldn't stand. His wing was out and kept falling over.
This afternoon when I got home from work and he won't move. The girls won't leave his side...
Please help! What can I do to help my fat duck!!

number 1 mallards shouldn't be fat mallards are not ducks that can become I ease easily they need to be taken care of and kept at the average weight for them . You need to separate him from the females and take him to an Avian vet . And quickly he doesn't sound we'll .


I advise that you work on your mallard most other ducks can afford getting I ease but all of the bantam breeds should remain light weight .

I've taken him away from the girls, now he is inside.

I recommend you take him to the vet like I said before.


And cut down on his food about a cup a day of Game bird feed .( if they have that in Australia (

My ducks do to stay together like that they separate in groups of 3

Mine like to stay in a big group. All 29 of them! I hope they will except the lone duckling. He was raised with the geese but they got to big. Now he is with the baby Guineas.
