Let's talk Golden Cuckoo Marans!

Pics
These are the best pics. I'm thinking two cockerels. Thoughts?

Okay, folks. Hubby has hit his limit on chickens and has asked me to reduce my numbers. Unfortunately, this means selling a pair of my son's Golden Cuckoos. Here is a pic of the two males (6 weeks old). One (on the right) has better barring, better leg feathering, but kind of scrappy looking feathers, and the other is smaller with not as crisp barring, not as thick foot feathers, but nicer feathers. Which one should I keep?

I chose this pic angle to show the feather quality...
ETA: the two males are in the middle...

My thoughts exactly. I just wasn't sure how much of a "deal breaker" feather quality was...

If you had more than two to pick from, I would say yes, go for better feather quality. I had some funky feathered roosters in the first batch I hatched when I first started with my foundation birds. Even the one I kept had weird tail feathers when he molted and the tail feathers were half grown in, but they straightened out. Could be your guy will feather in better after he molts and gets his adult feathers.
