Lets talk Kitchen sinks... What do you like?

I despise the one we got that was on so pretty on the shelf.

Drop in, plastic?maybe fiberglass and black.
It is a mere 8 years old and worn out.

Stainless steel, single basin or enamel on steel would be a preferred choice if I could do it again.

"Farm sink" or "apron sink" is what I see them called.

Stainless, undermount, single sink, farmhouse style. Wouldn't go back to a double bowl sink if you paid me.

I'll be in the market for a new kitchen sink soon & I want to hear everybody's input on what they have, what they like & why they like it.

I'm considering getting a single, rectangular basin instead of the normal 2 sided square I usually have. Does anybody have one? What do you like/dislike about it? Do you prefer stainless steel, porcelain, or something else & why?

Can ya all help a girl out? :pop
Hey, Roomy.

You know I flipped houses for a while so I've done my fair share of kitchen remodels.
My hands down favorite sink was the black granite composite undermount, two bowl (one large and deep, one a bit smaller and shallower). I used a gooseneck pull down faucet with it. It was awesome.
I had a single sink (and a double sink on the other side of the kitchen) in one house. I never used the single sink for anything other than washing my hands. For things that can't go in the dishwasher, it's hard to wash and rinse them with just one sink.
