Hi Kim!

You will find the rabbits to have a great feed to meat conversion ratio - of all the animals we raise the rabbits are "in the black" all year money wise. You can sell some from each litter and they will totaly pay their own feed bill, there is a pretty steady year round market in our area for the kits.

The quail are good to, plus you can keep them in a smaller pen and breed them when you want to.

One other thing you might want to look into is Muscovy ducks, if you can raise them on pasture they can pretty much take care of themselves.
