It's daffodils here. It's, like, our area's particular flower. They grow EVERYWHERE. They give away bulbs every winter. Has to do with the history here. Something to do with Cornwall. I won't get into that, though

We have lots of daffodils too. And hyacinths. Some of my favorite flowers are the spring ones that come up every year. Reminds me of better things to come

Same. There's a weird pause between spring flowers and summer flowers. Too late for spring flowers and still too early for summer ones

There are a million rules. This one is because the morpheme "ys" has its own meaning. Using "ys" actually alters a word's meaning. "Eys" is fine. Not a morpheme.
