Will someone tell me what these initials are. I see BO, EE, Silkie and so forth. What is this?

BO= buff orphington
EE= Easter egger
Silkie= refers to or is short for another breed

You might also see:
BCM= black copper Maran
RSL= red sex link
RR= rhode island red

Etc etc...you'll see all sorts of abbreviations for various breeds of chickens on this forum...you'll get used to it and soon will just read it in context...hope this helps.

You will also see BR: Barred Rock,JG: Jersey Giant and countless others. Given all the info on this site there has to be a abbreveation chart somewhere.

BO is Buff Orpington (no "h" in it)
