I have a coop and run that has 8 hens and 2 roosters. I'd like to let one of my chickens set and hatch some chicks. How can I do this without being able to give her her own "nursery"? Will having other chickens (hens and roosters) in the enclosure with her cause problems with the broody hen being picked on or otherwise bothered? What happens when the chicks hatch? Will the other chickens attack the chicks? A lot of questions, I know. I'm just not sure what to do.

You can encourage her to go broody with wooden eggs or golf balls but i would advise to separate her as if any hatch then the other chickens will definitely kill them. I’ve had past experiences and especially the roosters will just peck the chicks to death.
